In the first instance your best bet is to find my images on one of the picture agencies I work with and license it through them, generally for editorial use or custom licensing via each agency:-
Most of my images taken of touring artists as they come through Cambridge Corn Exchange or Cambridge Junction are available on there along with the festivals and gigs further afield I cover.
Note: Not all touring bands allow me to syndicate images of them, so occasionally some photos are simply not available to use.
Artists local to Cambridge
I often photograph events at The Junction such as The Fiver, these images are typically not available through agencies. Please get in touch if your band wants to use the images for social or promo usage, I typically offer these at a reduced rate for usage of the full set of images.
Also if your band is under 18 or involved in youth programmes at the Junction I will waive my licensing fee for social or promo usage.
Usage for merchandising, album/single/ep artwork or for distribution with press releases needs to be negotiated on a case per case basis.
What if I don’t have any budget?
I understand that the business of being in a band is tough, however so is being a photographer mainly covering music.
The only free option I offer is to either sharing of posts/stories from my Instagram or using the collab feature on Instagram.
Note: Downloading and reposting photos, even with mention or credit is not allowed unless previously agreed.
